Mission Statement:

"Built out of the concern for the frail and elderly in our society who have given of their labour and time and who in their advancing years deserve a decent place to live with the provision of reasonable and affordable housing and limited health care support."

Branch 133, Legion Village, Inc. is an apartment building located at 111 Hibernia Street in Cobourg, Ontario catering to the needs of senior citizens. This project of Branch 133, Royal Canadian Legion opened in 1981 featuring bedsitting rooms, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. Amenities include a recreational program, beauty salon, tuck shop, chapel, games room, library, exercise room, licensed pub, lounges, garden plots, putting greens and shuffle board.

The Korean Veterans Association now meets five times yearly.

Meetings are held in the Eva Taylor Room at 2 p.m. on the second Tuesday of January, March, June, September and November.

F/O LESLEY EDWARDS BORN 10 JUNE 1912 AT ROSENEATH, THE SON OF REVEREND AND MRS. R.L. EDWARDS WAS THE FIRST RCAF PILOT OF NO 1 FIGHTER SQUADRON, LATER RENUMBERED AS 401 SQN, TO PAY THE SUPREME SACRIFICE FOR HIS COUNTRY DURING THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN. HIS BODY NOW LIES IN THE BROOKFIELD CEMETERY IN SURREY, ENGLAND.
